“Being responsible for Lantmännen’s core business has been a really stimulating and fun – and sometimes challenging – task. During all my time in Lantmännen, I’ve had the pleasure of working with amazing colleagues, co-workers and members. Together, we have developed the Agriculture Sector into a profitable and leading player in our industry. I am truly proud of the work we have done, and would like to thank everyone for these rewarding years. I am now ready to enjoy the next step in life,” says Elisabeth Ringdahl, Head of Lantmännen’s Agriculture Sector.
Elisabeth first worked at Lantmännen between the years of 2003 and 2013; initially as CFO of the Swecon Business Area, and later as CFO for what was then the Machinery Sector. After a couple of years outside of Lantmännen, Elisabeth returned to a role as CFO in the Agriculture Sector, and then assumed the position of Head of the Agriculture Sector in 2016.
“I would like to extend my warm thanks to Elisabeth for the important work she has done for Lantmännen, the Agriculture Sector, and our members during all these years. With excellent leadership, broad competence, and great enthusiasm, she has led the development of the Sector and its various business into the strong position we have today. Elisabeth is a deeply appreciated leader and colleague, and I wish her all the best in the future,” says Magnus Kagevik, Lantmännen’s Group President and CEO.
Elisabeth will stay in her current role until leaving Lantmännen around the middle of the year. Work on recruiting a successor has begun.
“In her role as Head of Agriculture, Elisabeth has in a natural way been working closely together with both elected representatives and other members of Lantmännen, and she has been a much appreciated representative of Lantmännen. My warmest thanks to Elisabeth for her many strong and important efforts for Lantmännen and Swedish farming – and my best wishes for the upcoming retirement,” says Per Lindahl, Chairman of Lantmännen’s Board of Directors.
