Focus areas

The Lantmännen Research Foundation operates in three focus areas: Agriculture and machinery, Food and health, and Bioenergy and green materials.

For researchers

Here you will find collected information that makes it easier to apply for funding from the Lantmännen Research Foundation.

The Foundation's Handbook contains information such as what must be included in an application and what is required for the status and final reporting of a project. Also use the Assessment criteria of the foundation to support the design of the application. In addition to these criteria, the applications are assessed with regard to scientific quality and business potential. The projects that are granted funding are expected to provide knowledge that can be applied directly in Lantmännen's operations or at farm level.

At the Lantmännen Research Foundation, we believe that collaboration is a key factor in succeeding with the challenges raised in the call texts. Therefore, we want applicants to contact us for dialogue about project ideas and the opportunity for collaboration, but also to ensure that the project is in line with the foundation's purpose.

Applications and reports are submitted via the Foundation Portal. The Foundation Portal is also used by our reviewers to evaluate received applications and reports. To use the Foundation Portal, a personal account is needed, which is created at the first login.
