Norrbotten

The Norrbotten district encompasses the provinces of Norrbotten and Lapland and forms the northernmost part of Sweden. The climate is characterized by significant seasonal temperature variations. During winter, the district can experience some of the lowest temperatures in Sweden, while summer periods may bring unusually high temperatures. Agriculture is dominated by forage and silage crops, as well as grains such as spring barley and oats. The district has just over 260 members.
