Hi there,

I am one of the former trainees that have stretched my mind and influenced Lantmännen´s road ahead during the last 15 months. That´s by the way, the length of the Graduate Trainee Program, where you will get to try out three different positions across various sectors, countries and professions – while learning more about your passion and finding your thing within Lantmännen. Projects vary greatly and are meant to provide you with a wide range of knowledge and competencies. As an example, I studied engineering, but got the opportunity to work with - among other things - profitability in fixed price sales and developing a shop concept, during the trainee program. And through this, exploring new areas outside my field of studies.

Several training sessions are also held throughout the program, which gives you the possibility to explore interests and quickly evolve in your personal and professional development. And one of the best things was that you will also get to dive deeper into a specific area through one of several strategic group assignments – projects initiated by Lantmännen’s team of top executives.

The program will allow you to grow your global network and share insights and experiences with skilled colleagues. You get a chance to make a real impact both within the Group – but also on society and peoples’ everyday lives. After the program is finished, you will continue your career in a position somewhere in our international business and for me, this position is within Digital Business Development.

To like the Lantmännen Graduate Trainee Program, I think that you should share our passion for the future of agriculture, machinery, energy, and food – like us, you want to reimagine the world of grain. You should have the ambition to make a difference, and have the drive and confidence to take responsibility for creating results. As a person, you can quickly adapt to new circumstances, you are courageous and curious, and you want to challenge yourself.

In order to qualify, you need at least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a specialization in Business, Engineering or Agriculture. You should also have some international experience, e.g. through studies, work or from living abroad. It’s also meritorious if you have worked, volunteered or engaged yourself in other relevant activities or organizations, e.g. parallel with your studies and you are highly proficient in spoken and written English.

For me, the Lantmännen Graduate Trainee Program has been a unique and promising start to my career. And Lantmännen has both invested in my development, but also challenged me along the way, for me to go full circle with my ambitions. With commitment, drive and new ideas, you can become a vital part of your and our future success and development - taking responsibility from field to fork.

Take care and let´s reimagine the world of grain!
