The television series Svenska Bönder returns for a second season
The series gives audiences a unique opportunity to experience the realities of modern farming in Sweden, covering everything from crop cultivation and livestock production to entrepreneurship, family life, and the challenges and opportunities facing the industry. Svenska Bönder offers a close-up view of the work behind Swedish food production and highlights both the rewards and the complexities of running a farm in today's Sweden.
The new season will feature several well-known farms from the first season, while also welcoming four new farms. Together, they will showcase grain farms, dairy production, and beef production, providing a broad and authentic picture of Swedish agriculture.
For Lantmännen, Svenska Bönder is an important way to increase understanding of agriculture's role in society and to highlight the work that goes into producing the food on our tables. The series offers a glimpse into life on Swedish farms and shines a light on farmers' dedication, expertise, and vital contribution to Sweden's food supply.

The following farms will return in the upcoming season:

For those who missed the first season, reruns will air on TV3 this summer:

Sundays at 7:00 PM, starting 21 June (week 25), for eight consecutive weeks

Mondays at 10:30 PM during weeks 26–27, and Mondays at 10:00 PM during weeks 28–33

Production: The series is produced by Delta Studios for Viaplay, and season two is scheduled to premiere on Viaplay and TV3 in 2027.
