Lanthem, jointly owned by Lantmännen and Hemsö, acquires four elderly care properties
Lanthem, a property company jointly owned by Hemsö and Lantmännen Fastigheter, has entered into an agreement with Slättö to acquire four properties in Alingsås, Borås, Gotland and Karlstad. Most of the tenants are municipal or other public-sector entities. The total property value amounts to SEK 567 million. Closing will take place on September 1, 2026.

The properties comprise 13,800 square meters of lettable area and are primarily used for elderly care. The tenants are Alingsås Municipality, the City of Borås, Region Gotland and Vardaga. The leases have an average remaining term of 11 years.

Lanthem, which is owned in equal shares by Hemsö and Lantmännen Fastigheter, develops and manages social infrastructure properties, with a primary focus on schools, LSS housing and elderly care facilities.

Lanthem currently owns approximately 57,000 square meters of elderly care properties in Lidingö, Malmö, Norrtälje, Svalöv and Tygelsjö, as well as in several locations on Gotland.
