The Lantmännen Research Foundation supports research that builds knowledge throughout the value chain, from field to fork. The Foundation plays an important role in developing both current and future operations within Lantmännen and in contributing to a sustainable and profitable Swedish agricultural sector.

"It is very gratifying that we are now securing long-term and significant funding for the Lantmännen Research Foundation and its important mission to build knowledge from field to fork. Research and innovation are crucial for developing the business over time, driving growth and strengthening profitability on the owners' farms," says Jenny Bengtsson, board member at Lantmännen and chair of the Lantmännen Research Foundation.

The Lantmännen Research Foundation enables the funding and implementation of external research within Lantmännen's business areas, both in Sweden and internationally. The research focuses on three areas: agriculture and machinery, food and health, and bioenergy and green materials.

The capital injection of SEK 300 million strengthens the Foundation's own resources and will form the basis for continued long-term funding of needs-driven research and development in the agricultural and food sectors.
