Slaktarkorv was founded in 2013 by the agricultural entrepreneurs Åsa Lillbro and Per Karlsson. Since then, Slaktarkorv has become a well-established brand in the market, with a broad geographic presence and nationwide sales. The range consists of sausages and charcuterie products, always made with 100 percent Swedish meat.
“Slaktarkorv is a valued brand which, with its niche position and popular products, becomes a welcome addition to our existing offering and assortment. Particularly interesting is Slaktarkorv’s development within spiced sausages, a segment where there are good opportunities for growth going forward,” says Maria Dundeberg, Commercial Director at Scan Sverige.
The transaction is a brand acquisition and will be completed on 1 April 2026. Scan Sverige already manages the processing and production of Slaktarkorv under a cooperation agreement.
