Henrik Sundell appointed new General Counsel

Press releases, 2023

Henrik Sundell has been appointed new General Counsel for Lantmännen, and will be replacing Tove Cederborg, who has decided to leave Lantmännen after 12 years with the company.

Henrik is currently the General Counsel of Eltel, and has previously held leading positions in legal affairs at – among others – Ericsson, DeLaval, and Aga.

“I would once again like to thank Tove for her important work for Lantmännen over several years and wish her all the best going forward. I also want to give Henrik a warm welcome. Henrik has experience from several global companies, and I am convinced that he, together with his team, will continue the positive development,” says Magnus Kagevik, Lantmännen’s Group President and CEO.

Henrik will be based in Stockholm and part of the Group Management team. He will assume his position no later than February 1, 2024.

“I’m grateful for the confidence placed in me to take over as General Counsel at Lantmännen, and look forward to start working together with all my new colleagues, both in GF Legal Affairs, Assurance & Compliance and in the group as a whole. Lantmännen is a very fine company, and my sense is that the company is in an exciting phase, with growth on the agenda and a continued focus on being a leading player – not least in the sustainability area. I hope to contribute to a continued good development also in the future,” says Henrik Sundell.

Helen Larsson, Director Legal Agriculture and M&A, have been appointed Acting General Counsel from the time of Tove’s departure on September 1 until Henrik’s arrival.
