Remote access to Lantmännen

To enhance the protection of our systems and data, Lantmännen request all users to identify themselves twice when requesting access outside our network, for example if you want access via a mobile phone or if you are working from external sites. This is called Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Remote access to applications, tools and internal instructions

Lantmännen uses two types of apps, Microsoft Authenticator and Pocket Pass for MFA. This applies both for access via your computer and mobile device.

The first thing you need to do is to download the two apps' and activate them on your mobile device. Note that all steps in the activation process must be completed. The last step in the activation processes is particularly important!​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

 

Start here: 

1. Install the Microsoft Authenticator app

Download and install Microsof Authenticator app on your mobile phone or tablet. Important! The one-time activation must be done in front of a computer, as you will follow steps that requires both computer and mobile device access.

2. Install the Pocket Pass app

Lantmännen uses Pocket Pass to ensure a secure connection to our tools and applications such as Smartday and LantApp when we work outside the office or site network. This applies both for access via your computer and the mobile phone. 

You need to download the Pocket Pass app to your mobile and activate it. Note that all steps in the activation process must be completed. The last step in the activation process (step 7) is particularly important.

Secure login with YubiKey - For Admin Roles in Entra ID or users without mobile phones

If you don't have the possibility to install our MFA-apps on a mobile phone, 
OR if you have an Admin role in Entra ID, you need o use a YubiKey as a valid Multi-factor login.

PAM (Privileged Access Management) for suppliers and IT

PAM is used to protect against the threats posed by credential theft and privilege misuse. At Lantmännen we use PAM for login to our servers. An admin account is required for use of the PAM solution and your admin account is added to PAM when RDP or local admin permission is requested.

CyberArk Remote Access for suppliers

CyberArk Remote Access exists in same platform as PAM and have the same security capability regarding protecting against the threats posed by credential theft and privilege misuse. CyberArk Remote Access is used by vendors for accessing servers externally, that have no need for other access at Lantmännen.

Compared to PAM this means that no LantID nor admin account is required, hence a faster onboarding and no need for support on systems otherwise required. The person responsible for a vendor can invite the vendor as user on their external e-mail, which they use for login to CyberArk Remote Access.

IT Service Portal

The IT Service Portal is the main channel for IT related support and requests. You can register a ticket and report an issue or IT incident via a form, or ask a question via the portal.When you register a ticket is created, you fill in a form to provide the agent with background information so that the problem solving can be made in a smooth way.
