About the program
As a trainee at Lantmännen you are offered a unique start to your career where you will be a part of a dynamic and global Group with a vision for growth - in both existing and new markets. Over a 15-month period, you will join our professional teams somewhere in our global organization.
The three assignments in the program are spread across our business areas and functions and at least one of the assignments will be abroad. Projects greatly vary - aiming to give you as a trainee a wide range of knowledge and experience from our broad business.
Trainings are held in parallel with assignments, to provide a good platform and tools in important areas such as leadership, personal development, and strategic business thinking.
There will also be three gatherings, called Pulses, where you will do study visits to further explore our business, share your experiences and learnings with the other trainees, reflect and recharge.
The Gradute Trainee Program also includes a strategic group assignment, which focuses on specific areas regarding Lantmännen’s future development. These strategic projects are often initiated directly by the Group Management team.

During my assignments, I have met many great leaders and I have had the opportunity to both see them "in action", but also hear them discuss and reason about their leadership. It has made me realize what I appreciate about good leadership.

As a Graduate Trainee at Lantmännen, I got to do several interesting things – from working with Organic Grain and Transfer Pricing, to exploring Marketing at Unibake Belgium to learning more about Public and Regulatory Affairs. After the program I got the amazing opportunity to develop further in the role as Project Manager at Lantmännen Unibake in Copenhagen.

As a former trainee I was intrigued to try out exciting positions within Lantmännen's grain value chain, both in Sweden, internationally and within B2B and B2C. I have now taken on a role, pushing me outside my comfort zone, but with the confidence of managers and supportive colleagues; "You can do this!"
