Ordering procedures for indirect materials and services

Several of Lantmännen's units use a purchasing system (Palette Buyer) for indirect materials and services .

  1. When Lantmännen has made a decision to enable orders to be placed for you via the purchasing system, our purchasing support will contact you regarding contact and assortment information.

  2. For you as a supplier, the system involves no costs and there is no need for installation or system access on your part (except only if you want EDI connections, see more below)

  3. The purchasing system will send you an email with a purchase order in pdf format. The purchase order is a so-called PaL number, e.g. PAL1234567 (PaL stands for "Procurement at Lantmännen"). See Example orders

  4. The PaL number is a crucial reference for the invoice to be matched correctly and smoothly.

  5. We want to ensure that the pdf order contains all the information you need to be able to take care of the order. If you lack relevant information, we can adapt the order form. For example, if you need specific information on the order (e.g. part number or a mark if it is "Service" or "Repair", contact Purchasing Support and we can change the order form so that you get the correct information).

  6. The purchase orders will be sent from the email address noreply.palette@lantmannen.com – please make sure that they do not end up in your spam folder.

  7. You cannot send an order confirmation or delivery notification via the system, but it must be sent via e-mail directly to the customer (the address is in the pdf order).

  8. If you wish and can have an EDI connection or eFaktura: contact Purchasing Support

NOTE. This information applies to indirect materials and services. For orders for direct materials, the local business systems are used.
