Trading periods and placing orders

You can place orders to trade issue inputs throughout the year. Trading takes place regularly according to a fixed trading calendar with ten trading periods per year.

Trading periods

Trading in issue inputs takes place according to the trading calendar below. You can only have one active order during the trading period that is open for order placement.

Trading day

The trading day is the day when incoming orders are matched and the transaction price is determined and published. The trading day falls no later than five business days after the end of the trading period.

Settlement date

On the settlement date, the issue stakes change hands and payment is made. The settlement date is no later than eight business days after the end of the trading period. Upon completion of the sale, the money is available in your savings account with Lantmännen. Upon completion of the purchase, the money is transferred to the seller's savings account and purchased issue stakes are in your issue account.

As a retired member, you can sell your issue contributions until the payment of the issue contributions is made at the beginning of July, the year after the withdrawal has been submitted.

Placing orders

To trade in issue stakes, you must submit an order by filling out the digital order form on LM2 Finance. If you send several orders, it is your most recent trade order that applies. Detailed instructions for placing orders can be found on LM2 Finance under the tab Issue trading.

If you do not have access to LM2, you can fill out a physical order form and send it by post. You can find this form under Dokumenttorget.

Your order must arrive at Svensk Kraftmäkling (SKM), which handles Lantmännen's issue trading, no later than the last day of the trading period. If the order comes in later, it participates in the next trading period.

You can see your current holding in your account for issue contributions on LM2 Finance, where you will also find a digital version of your latest membership notice under the tab "Forms and documents".

When buying, funds corresponding to the order value (price multiplied by face value) must be available in your savings account at Lantmännen. If there are no funds available on the last day of the trading period, the order will be rejected.

In addition to the issue trading arranged by SKM, there is also the opportunity to trade directly between individual members. Trading in the issue stakes takes place as a business deal, where the parties themselves agree on the price and terms. The form for issue trading directly between members can be found on Dokumenttorget in the menu to the left.
