To clearly show how your dividend and your efforts are affected by Lantmännen's results, and what financial return you can get over time, we have developed a "calculator".

Lantmännen's dividend model

Lantmännen will generate a steady and stable dividend to its owners over a period of time. The dividend shall mainly be based on the Group's profit after tax generated by operating activities, i.e. excluding non-recurring items. The principles for dividends are decided upon by the Group Board of Directors.

All members of Lantmännen receive the dividend from the association. There are four forms of dividends, which are decided at the Annual General Meeting:

  • Refund - calculated on the purchases from Lantmännen Lantbruk and Lantmännen Maskin.
  • Post-payment – calculated on what you sell to Lantmännen Lantbruk.
  • Contribution dividend – Dividend (interest) on your capital contribution and issue capital.
  • Contribution issue – part of the profit from Lantmännen's industrial operations is distributed to the members with 50 percent on trading with Lantmännen and 50 percent on paid and issued contributions.

The goal is to distribute the entire operating profit (100%) in the operation-based operations in the form of bonuses and post-payments.

Of the remaining profit after tax from the trading and industrial operations, up to 50% is distributed in contribution dividends and contribution issues.

The dividend may vary from year to year. Decisions on arrears, bonuses, contribution distributions and contribution issues are made after each financial year has ended. The historical values are entered in the calculator below so that you can make an assessment of the development yourself. Take the opportunity to experiment with trading and dividends and we hope that you will clearly see the added value and the economic return of owning and trading with Lantmännen.
