Currently we are looking for Junior Production Technologist to join our Lantmännen Unibake team in Londerzeel.

This is what you will do :

As a Junior Production Technologist you will be in the center of our Operations/Site team and collaborate in the entire production process starting from raw materials to finished bakery products. You will be involved in different challenging projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to get to know our business, processes and products and grow with our company.

Your main responsibilities will be (but not limited to) :

  • You will be reviewing and optimizing processes to facilitate productivity, quality and safety
  • You will be involved in ‘value engineering’ and assist in CI initiatives : improving recipe costs by developing, evaluating, assessing and approving alternatives
  • You will liaise with a lot of internal and external stakeholders to initiate and coordinate production related development activities and processes and make sure that documents are up-to-date.
  • You will support the Site management team in developing, standardizing and documenting of Operations’ processes in adherence to global Unibake standards and best practices
  • You will support in productional process optimization and assist in training of shift supervisors and operators in the technology areas.
  • You will facilitate, guide and support the organisation in identifying and systematically driving improvement initiatives in the technology area

This is what you need to succeed:

Who are you ?

  • You probably have a Master's degree in food science & technology or equivalent by experience
  • You are a starter or have max 2 years experience in a manufacturing food/bread industry within R&D and/or NPD and/or process/production
  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder skills
  • You are a team player with an open mindset for improvement and change
  • You are eager to learn and you love to be challenged
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (writing and speaking), knowledge of French is an asset
