Traded Goods Manager

Working closely with our External Partners, Suppliers and cross functionally with internal teams, the Traded Goods Manager is pivotal to help us manage our traded supplier & partner relationships. You will also have a focus on our customers and consumers. You will build excellent relationsips with both internal and external stakeholders and the wider Lantmannen Group.

You have:

• A proven track record in managing a multi £m P&L in FMCG

• Demonstrable experience of managing commercial relationships with both traded suppliers & partners

• Strong knowledge of category management processes, tools and ways of working

• The ability to work with product costing models and margin analysis

You will be great at:

• Cascading group strategy at local market level & deploying category plans
• Driving volume, net sales and profitability of category in line with strategic goals
• Portfolio management and cost saving initiatives
• Reporting performance on the traded goods category and implementing
  corrective action plans
• Working in close co-operation with internal teams to ensure we create and execute market leading innovation programmes on both a strategic and customer specific basis
• Working cross functionally with other key functions to ensure activity is grounded in strong insight based rationales and executed profitably throughout the business
• Deliver monthly reports and regular market updates and provide ad hoc insights and support to business functions/teams

You are:

• A strategic thinker with strong numerical skills. A sound knowledge of procurement would be desirable
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic, ability to problem solve and with an analytical approach
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build sustainable internal and external customer relationships
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
• A flexible approach and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams as well as the ability to work independently
• A love of good food - we are looking for someone that has an interest in food

This role may require occasional European travel to Belgium, Portugal, and Lantmannen Unibake Group in Denmark.
