Currently we are looking for a SR Business Development Manager Retail to join our Lantmännen Unibake sales community in the Netherlands

This is what you will do

You will develop and retain our retail business in the Netherlands. In this role you will take full P&L accountability and develop strategic growth plans in order to deliver our ambitious sales targets and ensure that Lantmännen Unibake is the prefered partner in retail.

Your main responsibilities will be (but not limited to) :

  • You will develop, share and implement medium and long term strategies & short term ( 1yr) business plans to achieve maximum sales and profit growth
  • You will negotiate prices, rebates, promotions, listings and payment terms to ensure the best deals and business development opportunities throughout the entire product mix
  • You will continually and pro-actively monitor, implement and evaluate new product development, marketing strategies, trends and customer needs with a keen awareness of competitor activities
  • You will be in constant communication with your colleagues in sales, marketing, product development and demand planning to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • You will lead the preparation and review of the monthly sales reports, analysis of the market place trends, retails sales, individual account trends and competitive activity
  • You will conduct customer visits ensuring Lantmännen Unibake to be top-of-mind and secure our involvement in all relevant tenders and market expectations

Who are you ?

  • You have a University degree in Economics, Business Administration or equivalent by experience
  • You have +5 years experience in retail account management or category management, preferably in the food & beverage industry
  • You have excellent internal and external communication and stakeholder skills within a customer focused sales environment
  • You have a solid understanding of key sales and business development activities and tools
  • You feel at ease in an international matrix organization
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (writing and speaking)
