The Marketing team has been assigned to drive this business orientation through our different channels.

In order to build products and brands that people love we are hiring a Senior Product Manager.

This is what you will do

As Senior Product Leader you will manage the product portfolio for the categories French Pastry & Fast Food. You will drive the innovation process for both Market- as Customer-driven innovation projects and will perform activities to achieve a balanced and profitable product portfolio. You’ll steer the process from idea stage to market introduction, thereby working closely on key stakeholder management within marketing, sales, operations & finance.

Primary areas of responsibility:

  • Manage the innovation-process for NPD-Projects
    • Guide new products from ideation through every stage of the commercialization funnel
    • Organize and lead these GATE-meetings
    • Manage the critical path of the active NPD- and PED-projects.
  • Product Portfolio Management of the categories French Pastry & Fast Food
    • Tracking in-market product performance versus business case
    • Identifying risks and opportunities
    • Prioritizing high-value products
    • Optimizing resource allocation across the portfolio
    • Balancing the portfolio’s product mix to maximize return on investment
  • Work in duo with the Category Business Leader by
    • preparing the Product Review meetings
    • driving and implementing category initiatives
  • Coach and inspire the Junior Product Manager to support their personal development
  • Share best practices from Marketing, Supply and Innovation.

This is what you need to succeed:

You have:

  • In addition to your Master degree, you have minimum 5 years of product/portfolio management experience in the sector of (fast moving) consumer goods in combination with
    • A thoroughly understanding of S&OP and/or Commercial Planning processes
    • Proven experience in innovation processes is key
    • Broad experience in effective stakeholder management is a must
  • Excellent English language skills, whilst knowledge of French or Dutch are a clear asset.

  • As a self-starter you take initiatives and have a “can do mentality”
