An exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Category Manager to join our Vilniaus duona team.

This is what you will do

As an Senior Category Manager you will develop Lithuania & Latvia Fresh Bread portfolio strategy, manage product portfolio and build New product development (NPD) and Existing product development (EPD) pipeline.

Primary areas of responsibility:

  • Develop Lithuania & Latvia Fresh Bread portfolio strategy, long- and short-term category plans to meet strategic goals in co-operation with Lithuanian & Latvian Sales, Operations and Controlling team.
  • Lead NPD and EPD projects in Lithuanian & Latvian area.
  • Build Lithuanian & Latvian NPD and EPD pipeline.
  • Effectively manage Product portfolio: monitor performance, maximize profitability, reduce complexity.
  • Lead a team consisting of Category Manager and NPD specialists.
  • Proactively provide initiatives for further development based on internal sales data, market analysis and monitoring.

This is what you need to succeed:

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (in marketing, business management or communication would be an advantage).
  • At least 5 years experience in marketing or sales (experience in FMCG area would be an advantage).
  • Analytical approach and skills in product portfolio project management and development.
  • Familiarity with consumer-driven innovation and disciplined data-driven portfolio management.
  • Understanding the business environment of fast-moving consumer goods (knowledge of the bread products market would be an advantage).
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good knowledge in common IT tools.
  • Good English (written and spoken) skills.
  • Ability to process, analyze data and present results.

Monthly salary offer starts from 4100 Eur (gross) plus annual bonus based on the company's performance. Final offer will based on candidate's competencies, experience and compliance with position requirements.
