We are searching for a Sales Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland to join our Lantmännen Unibake team driving the development of our strong Food Service position in the DACH area.

This is what you will do

As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving short- and long-term sales performance in the DACH region. You’ll be a member of the management team reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Your primary focus will be to maintain our strong position within the Food Service market in Germany, identifying future growth opportunities across sales channels and product categories, and lead and developing the sales team.

Primary areas of responsibility:

  • Develop and implement the sales strategy in aligned with local and global strategic priorities
  • Achieve the sales targets for the area
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing in accordance with required risk models and target margins
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Manage and utilize customer data to enhance relationships and performance
  • Understand customer challenges, preferences, and needs to provide solutions
  • Analyze market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats
  • Manage and further develop a sales team with approx. 10 employees
  • Lead and develop the sales team driving a culture of accountability, co-operation, cross functional alignment and high performance cross the entire team
  • Collaborate closely with the global sales team on an international level

This is what you need to succeed:

You have:

  • In-depth knowledge of the national food service business
  • Several years of experience in sales management functions in the food service / B2B business , with strong customer insights
  • A passionate for understanding both consumer, end customer and distributer needs
  • Strong negotiation skills and a proven ability reach mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, conceptual thinking – skilled in balancing strategic and operational demands
  • Proficiency in CRM and other sales-related software
  • A positive, solutions-driven mindset with a “can-do” attitude
  • Recognized as an accomplished leader with the ability to elevate organizations and drive structural improvements
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and mentor sales teams to achieve outstanding performance and foster professional development
  • Experience from international corporate environments
  • Degree in economics or related field ( e.g.,sales, category management, etc.)
  • Fluent in German and English

Place of work:

The Lantmännen Unibake Germany office is located in Bremen. However, as a Sales Director your work location can be flexible within Germany.
