An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pricing/Sales Analyst to join our Lantmännen Unibake team at our office in St. Petersburg, Florida.

This is what you will do:

Cross-functional role, partnering with Finance, Sales, and Marketing, to develop, maintain and monitor competitive, data driven pricing & profitability methodologies & processes in support of the commercial business goals.

­­­­­­­­­­Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop & maintain comprehensive Pricing models supporting Foodservice & Retail sales, create change management and approval workflows; capture the ability to do multiple what-if scenarios,
  • Improve and streamline the current, highly complex & matrixed pricing structure into a more standardized streamlined structure, including development of FOB vs Delivered price lists,
  • Actively support profitability analysis on pricing agreement renewals plus new productive development costing models and new customer acquisitions proposals, identify & communicate R&O impacts,
  • Maintain a post analysis process on commercial agreements and customer Trade spend promotions, identifying margin risk and gaps in pricing structure.
  • Own Trade pricing condition development process (off-invoice, on-invoice, LTOs, etc) and support loading into ERP & profitability models plus customer portals, confirming accuracy and completeness.
  • Create, communicate and maintain a new Pricing file structure utilizing current IT tools, providing a logical, hierarchical, and organized format.
  • Proactively evaluate Key Customer performance, summarize results for Sales Team & management, recommend changes in price structure & terms.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Category Management and Operation teams in driving solutions to enhance product performance (SKU Optimization).
  • Provide Supply Chain (logistics/freight) analysis and reporting, create standardize reporting template, conduct team review meetings, provide recommendations to improve ROI, maintain & follow-up on action plans, monitor customer deductions & drive improvements to limit exposure,
  • Support the Trade Promotion Management process, analyze & provide approvals for trade spending (promotions, discounts, allowances, etc.), support problem resolution and improved communication,

Key Performance Measures:

  • Provide & verify price lists are valid & current within the organization & with customer portals.
  • Timely updates of Trade pricing conditions and allocation factors for profitability management model
  • Monthly reporting on low performing sku’s
  • Keep current Key Customer P&Ls, pricing models, KPIs.

This is what you need to succeed:

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field or equivalent experience

  • Professional certification(s) desirable

  • 5+ years of related experience

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Ability to aggregate large, complex data sets and design analytical reporting to drive insights into business performance; ensure data is standardized, impactful, actionable, and understandable; ability to summarize findings into management level communication.
  • Ability to document processes in a clear manner and communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills; proficiency working in Excel, multi-dimensional data analysis and Power BI experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently and independently while still meeting deadlines and commitments.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels.
  • Team player with a willingness to assist and coach colleagues. Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Demonstrate sound work ethics.

Your “power skills”

  • Foodservice & Retail CPG industry
  • ERP systems / Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle
  • Business partnering and matrix structure

  • Competitive salary.

  • Bonus potential: There is an opportunity to earn up to 10% of annual salary based on the Company attaining the sales and profitability goals established by the SLT (senior leadership team) for each calendar year and achievement of personal objectives. All bonus payments are discretionary and reviewed by the President each year.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 15 days of PTO annually, which is to be used for vacations, personal days off and sick days. At your 5- and 10-year anniversary, the accrual rate will increase to reflect an additional 5 days of PTO each.

  • Holidays: 9 paid holidays per year.

Job Environment:

  • The role is based in St. Petersburg, FL with some travel required.

  • Hybrid work schedule (preferably 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) & flexibility to be fully onsite during project work. Demands of the role will vary during busy times, ie strategic planning, pricing changes, budgets, and projects.

Expected travelling days: TBD (10-20% travel, both domestic and international)
