National Account Manager - Independent Retail and Food Service

We are on the lookout for a talented account manager with sound retail and food service background to help grow our brands and market presence. You will have at least 3 years' experience in managing major accounts in retail and food service and growing a portfolio. You will have a natural ability to build relationships identify new opportunity and lead negotiations. Above all you will love pastries!


This is what you will do

You will be a highly motivated individual and key to your success will be:

  • Understanding the market segment and competitor set for growth opportunities
  • Build category plans both short and long term to ensure successful strategic partnerships
  • Build outstanding relationships with our customers

This is what you need to succeed:

  • Strong Account Management experience is required (with a focus on Independent Retail and Food Service)

  • Clear evidence of successful management and sales and profit growth with major food retailers (Metcash ideal, but exposure to Coles Woolworths, Aldi in addition will be considered)

  • Experience with analytical methods to review account performance trends and successful strategies

  • Demonstrable experience of working within a customer focused sales environment

  • Previous experience implementing sales strategies across the supply chain and cross functionally (supply chain, logistics, NPD, customer support, finance/pricing)

  • Knowledge of Food Service channels and market segment

  • Your own vehicle and driver's license - car allowance provided.

Place of work: Sydney/NSW (remote/home office) with intra and interstate travel required
