We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer Specialist to support Unibake in our goal to become the most tech-enabled bakery in the world.

This is what you will do

This role is part of our Data & Analytics team and reports to the Data & Analytics Manager. In your daily work, you will be reporting to our Analytics Lead. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the back-end data solutions within the Lantmännen Unibake Data Platform and play an active role in our global IT team.

Primary areas of responsibility:

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipeline
  • Develop and optimize ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes, and ensure data quality and integrity
  • Develop and maintain scalable data models
  • Collaborate with the Analytics team, IT, and the business to understand their requirements and translate these into a technical specification and model design
  • Providing support & maintenance for our global BI users
  • Ensure data solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure
  • Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
  • Combine raw information from different data sources
  • Performing tests and documenting our data solutions
  • Follow and promote technical best practices across the team

This is what you need to succeed

You have:

  • A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • Good knowledge in database design, SQL and Analytics technologies
  • Basic knowledge of Azure Synapse or other Cloud platforms and components
  • Basic experience with ERP systems (AX and/or D365)
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Strong analytical mindset and able to process, analyze, and present issues
  • Performance-driven and capable of navigating in a matrix organization
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • A data wizard, who will help us unleash our data’s potential

Lantmännen Unibake International HQ in Copenhagen, Ørestad.
Traveling up to 1-2 times monthly to business units when required depending on phase in planned or ongoing BP2/BP3 implementation projects.
