“I would like to thank Christian for his efforts during his two years as CFO. He has done solid work with developing and improving our finance and treasury functions; I would especially like to highlight the successful listing of Lantmännen’s first green bond on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, which was done in 2021. I would also like to wish Michael a warm welcome, it’s very positive that we have been able to find an internal replacement for this role. Michael has long experience from various positions in Lantmännen, and is a highly appreciated leader,” says Magnus Kagevik, Lantmännen’s Group President and CEO.
“I have decided to leave my position as CFO of Lantmännen. Lantmännen is a great company, and I am proud of what we have achieved during my time as CFO. I wish Lantmännen good luck going forward – and would like to extend my warmest thanks to all co-workers and colleagues for two good years together,” says Christian Johansson.
The change comes into effect on April 11. In connection with Michael Sigsfors assuming the role of CFO, he will also take place as part of Lantmännen’s group management team. Christian will be available for a period, to ensure a good transition.
Michael has worked within Lantmännen since 2008, among other things as CFO and Director Business Development & B2B at Lantmännen Cerealia, and since 2017 as Director Group Controlling at Lantmännen’s Finance & Treasury function. Michael also has previous experience from Kraft Foods and Henkel, among others.
“I would like to extend my thanks for the trust that’s being put in me: it feels inspiring to take the next step within Lantmännen, and I also look forward to continuing the work of developing our department. I also look forward to closer cooperation with my colleagues in the group management team, and to being able to contribute with my experience from different roles within Lantmännen,” says Michael Sigsfors.
Until a successor is in place, Michael will also keep his current position as Director Group Controlling.
