The period for subscribing for capital contributions in Lantmännen was completed on May 13. The result of the emission was that 350 people subscribed for capital contributions to a total amount of SEK 56 million, which have now been paid to the association.

Of the total subscription volume, approximately SEK 4 million come from Lantmännen employees, SEK 18 million from members, SEK 5 million from Kalmar lantmän – and SEK 30 million from LRF.

Lantmännen’s purpose with issuing capital contribution subscription is to broaden the capital base of the Group, while at the same time strengthening both the members’ ownership role and employee engagement in Lantmännen’s results. The capital contributions are a result of a discussion in the Owners’ Forum project about how ownership within Lantmännen can be developed.

Capital contribution subscription in Lantmännen were offered in units of SEK 10,000 to members and employees of Lantmännen. The dividend is based on Lantmännen’s results and the general interest rate. On a subsequent market, the capital contributions will be freely transferrable. The possibility to trade via Nordea will be offered at approximately eight times per calendar year, starting in the third quarter of 2009.
