Some former trainees

Below you will meet some of Lantmännen's former trainees. They shortly present why they applied for the programme and their current positions.

My first impression of Lantmännen was that the company is concerned about people and I still feel that this is true. I’ve been given the opportunity to work with many different assignments at Lantmännen, everything from increasing the capacity at the Mills oat mill to devising a new organizational structure for a farming company in Estonia. There is a wealth of possibilities at Lantmännen and now my 15 months are over I’m looking forward to the challenge of my job as marketing manager for Lantmännen Krafft.

Emmelie Johansson, Master in International Economic

I’m interested in farming and food, so applying to Lantmännen was the obvious choice. The company is experiencing an phase of internationalization and renewal. I’ve worked for example at our new bakery outside Moscow, as well as at Lantmännen Mills. That’s where I’m working now as production manager at the mill in Malmö – Scandinavia’s largest mill!

Anders Larsson, Master of Science in Agriculture and Business Administration

I choose Lantmännen’s trainee programme because the company’s sound environmental and health-related values appealed to me. While I’ve been here I have worked at Axa, Doggy, Unibake and the corporate function Economy & Finance. The programmme is truly comprehensive and the best part has been the opportunity to try ut working in many different work areas.Today I’m working as a project manager at Lantmännen Axa/Mills.

Josefine Arvidsson, Civil engineer, majoring in biotechnology

I applied to Lantmännen because of my interest in renewable sources of energy. The work I’ve been involved in has varied from investment calculations in our factories to developing a forecast tool for deliveries and marketing of pellets in England. My first job will be as project manager for Group logistics. I’ll be working to streamline our flows and to tackle the question of how we should reduce our carbon dioxide emissions.

Jonas Lindgren, Civil engineer, majoring in energy technology and gratuete economist

I applied to Lantmännen because it is an exciting and challenging company. It is a large Group in an interesting industry. Now I’ve completed the entire trainee programme and I’ve worked with everything from logistics and market plans to consumer surveys to develop the next generation of cake mix. The most valuable parts in the programme are the meetings with people in all levels and the exchange of experienses. Today I’m work as  Business Controller in corporate Finance and Treasury.

Jeanette Maruritz, Master of Science in Agriculture and Business Administration
