The Group’s organisation has been simplified in order to improve coordination between its different operations.

The goal is to have a cohesive Group which is able to maximise its strength throughout the value chain while tapping into synergies and economies of scale. The Group's operations are divided into four sectors, Agriculture Sector, Machinery Sector, Energy Sector and Food Sector.

There are also five corporate functions - Economy & Finance, Information & Communication, Legal Affairs & Organisation, Supply Chain, Human Resources and Internal Auditing – whose role is to support and advise Group management and the business areas in matters which concern the Group.

Some of the sectors also have Group assignments. Lantmännen Energi has for example the main responsibility for the Group's energy.
